- Pattern -
The installment has similar lines and shapes that are repeated to create a series of cubic forms across the panels.
- Rhythm -
The use of of pattern creates a sense of movement in a horizontal direction, and is only emphasized by the actual panels being able flip in a vertical direction. This creates a sort of visual noise and beat.

- Color -
Tajima's use of color allows viewers to take in all the individual pieces of the installation at once. Because of her bold color choices, one part of the piece cannot be ignored when looking at another in a different corner of the room. Her use of color allows each part of the installation to unite and be experienced as one.
I think the wide array of colors reflects all the literal and figurative "moving parts" involved in creating these installations. We see the parts of the installation as individuals, much like the different "jobs" performed during the process. The cohesive colors allow us to see that they are working together in the space.
